FinTech North to host trilogy of events for Nordic and Baltic FinTech delegation in November

This November, FinTech North is delighted to be a part of welcoming a delegation of 20 FinTech scale-ups from the Baltic and Nordic regions to the Northern Powerhouse. The trade mission planned by the Department of International Trade (DIT) and Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) will visit three of the north’s major economic regions during the trip – Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds.

A FinTech North seminar will take place on the morning of each of the three days giving an opportunity for the visiting FinTechs to showcase their innovative products and services to an audience of senior representatives from the region’s financial services and FinTech community. This will give all participants time to network and discuss the ideas and opportunities available for businesses looking to gain access to the UK market via the Northern Powerhouse.

Also at each event will be presentations by representatives from Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds talking about opportunities specific to each city. Each will be attended by representatives of organisations from across the northern FinTech ecosystem including major FS brands, tech businesses, public sector policy makers and investors from the FinTech North community.

The delegation will also visit tech and creative hubs in each location and take part in various opportunities to see the cities and network over food and drinks.

Tickets for FinTech North are available through the following links. Further details on timings, speakers and the visiting FinTechs will be available soon.

Liverpool 5th November

Manchester 6th November

Leeds 7th November
