Manchester Metropolitan University to Sponsor FinTech North



Manchester Metropolitan University has been announced as a sponsor for FinTech North, the one-day conference set to take place in Leeds on 26thApril 2017.

 

Manchester-Met-Logo-smallOne of the five biggest universities in the UK by enrolment numbers, Manchester Metropolitan University has well-developed business and computing departments and is aiming to develop ways of integrating financial technology and entrepreneurship topics into the curriculum.  The university already has a comprehensive digital offering and its involvement in FinTech North indicates its intentions to develop its strength in this area.

The faculties of Maths and Computing, and Business and Law from the university will both be represented at FinTech North, and Professor Hussein Abdou (Professor of Banking and Finance) will be sitting on the FinTech Fundamentals discussion panel.
