27 Graduates Inducted into the FinTech Graduate Development Programme by Beckett Careers in Collaboration with FinTech North
Last week, our Talent Upskilling Associate Silas OZOYA represented FinTech North as we formally inducted 27 Leeds Beckett University graduates into the Spring 2026 cohort of the Beckett Careers FinTech Graduate Development Programme delivered in collaboration with FinTech North.
Building on our existing work in enhancing the supply of FinTech skills into the North, the Beckett Careers FinTech Graduate Development Programme is designed to equip graduates with market-relevant digital and fintech skills, support companies across the North with talent that can accelerate growth and build a sustainable ecosystem capable of attracting investment, innovation and scale.
FinTech North brings industry insight, helps to shape skills pathway, connects graduates to the Northern fintech ecosystem and strengthens alignment with the regional and national tech economy.
This Spring 2026 cohort has more than doubled its intake since its inaugural Autumn 2025 cohort, reflecting a growing interest in FinTech and a shared commitment to developing future-ready FinTech talent for the North of England and the UK.
With 27 new participants, the Spring 2026 cohort will strengthen the region’s ability to supply talent into sub-sectors such as payments & open banking, digital lending, financial inclusion, Regtech, product management, digital transformation, data and AI-led financial services.
Aligning with the UK’s National Tech Skills Agenda and anchored in West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s priorities, the programme prioritises employability, digital fluency, and hands-on industry learning directly. By embedding real-world fintech exposure into graduate development, Beckett Careers and FinTech North are accelerating the UK’s mission to remain a global leader in technology-driven.
