James Brown is a Financial Services and Fintech leader with over 15 years’ experience helping organisations harness technology to improve financial wellbeing and inclusion. Having led business units at ASB, Barclays and Lloyds, I’ve delivered major transformation programmes, launched national Fintech initiatives, led Open Banking projects and advised governments on future-facing financial policy.

I’m passionate about supporting people who are financially vulnerable and believe technology, including AI and Open Banking, and has a vital role to play in increasing financial inclusion.

Today, I focus on helping organisations use AI to streamline operations, identify opportunities faster and deliver smarter, more personalised customer experiences that create better outcomes for both businesses and the communities they serve.
