FinTech North and Newcastle Strategic Solutions to Partner for Third Year

FinTech North proudly announces the renewal of our partnership with Newcastle Strategic Solutions, part of the Newcastle Building Society Group. The announcement marks the beginning of a promising third year of collaboration. Newcastle Strategic Solutions, the savings management platform managing balances approaching £50bn on behalf of clients and their customers, has been helping clients enter the savings market and grow their operations since 2004. As a key player in the northern FinTech ecosystem, NSSL first joined forces with us back in 2021 as one of our inaugural commercial partners, providing invaluable support during a pivotal period in our organisation’s growth.

During our formative years, the unwavering commitment from Newcastle Strategic Solutions played a pivotal role in our growth, reinforcing our shared dedication to fostering innovation and positive change within the dynamic FinTech landscape.

As the national FinTech ecosystem undergoes rapid evolution, our partnerships with organisations like Newcastle Strategic Solutions remain integral to fostering connections and increasing collaboration in the sector.

The Kalifa Review pinpointed the North East as one of the top 10 FinTech clusters in the UK, with Newcastle Strategic Solutions, headquartered in North Tyneside, standing out as one of the region’s most established and successful FinTechs. Furthermore, in late 2022, the Whitecap North East FinTech Strategy was released, seeing 39 scale-ups and start-ups, 92 well-established FinTech companies, and a noteworthy £312 million in Gross Value Added (GVA) from the North Eastern FinTech ecosystem. This development solidified the region’s status as a prominent hub for FinTech on a national level.
