FinTech North Partner with Afthonia Lab to drive International FinTech Collaboration
FinTech North is delighted to announce our new partnership with Afthonia Lab, an innovation-focused startup accelerator based in India. Afthonia specialises in supporting early-stage FinTech ventures, providing mentorship, strategic guidance, and ecosystem connections to help startups thrive in India’s dynamic financial services landscape.
This partnership marks an important step in FinTech North’s mission to strengthen international collaboration. With international activity being one of our key strategic pillars, we are always delighted to work with overseas partners who share our commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the growth of regional FinTech ecosystems worldwide.
Afthonia’s programmes are designed not only to support the growth of Indian FinTechs, but also to work with international companies exploring opportunities in the Indian market. This creates clear synergies with FinTech North’s mission to connect, share knowledge, and support FinTech innovation across borders.
This partnership will create value for our community, providing UK-based FinTechs with valuable insights into one of the world’s fastest-growing fintech markets, while also opening the door to collaboration with Indian startups seeking to engage with the UK. By bridging our ecosystems, we can help entrepreneurs, investors, and partners on both sides access new opportunities and accelerate growth.
As part of the partnership, Afthonia Lab will identify and provide speakers, mentors, or panelists for agreed events and webinars. They’ll also assist in promoting joint events to its network and audience and share insights and resources relevant to the startup ecosystem in India.
In return, FinTech North will provide access to our network of FinTech startups, investors, and ecosystem partners. We’ll also collaborate on event planning, coordination, and promotion, and share knowledge and ecosystem updates relevant to the UK fintech community.
