Open Banking Expo UK & Europe 2026 set to return to London this October
Open Banking Expo UK & Europe 2026 will return to the Business Design Centre in London on 13–14 October, bringing together senior leaders, regulators, policymakers and innovators from across the financial services ecosystem.
The two-day event will focus on the developments shaping Open Banking, Open Finance, payments and Smart Data, with an emphasis on real-world adoption, commercial models and the next phase of industry growth.
The programme will feature speakers from organisations including the Financial Conduct Authority, HMRC, Nationwide, Santander, Monzo Bank, BNY, Deutsche Bank, Open Banking Limited and Pay.UK.
Sessions will explore the scaling of Open Finance, account-to-account payments, Smart Data, digital identity, AI and the future of lending, alongside Powerhouse Debates, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
This year will also introduce new ways for attendees to get closer to the conversations shaping the industry.
Question Time will put the audience in control, with no presentations or pre-agreed questions. Attendees will be able to put their questions directly to industry leaders in an unscripted debate covering some of the biggest issues facing Open Banking, Open Finance, payments and Smart Data.
The Engine Room will bring live podcast conversations to the show floor throughout the Expo, giving attendees the opportunity to watch industry discussions unfold in real time. Delegates can also apply for a 30-minute recording slot to host their own podcast with their chosen guest or guests.
A programme of Chatham House roundtables will provide space for smaller, closed-door discussions under the Chatham House Rule, allowing peers to share challenges openly, exchange perspectives and explore practical ideas they can take back to their organisations.
