FinTech North returns to Whitworth Hall for 2020 Manchester Conference

FinTech North’s third annual Manchester conference will once again be hosted by The University of Manchester on 2nd April, expecting to attract around 300 delegates to the iconic Whitworth Hall for a full day conference featuring a line-up of national and regional FinTech experts and innovators.

Attendees at FinTech North will be drawn from the financial services and technology sectors in the region, including banks, building societies, insurers, other financial product and service providers, technology companies, software developers, FinTech entrepreneurs, investors, academics, students and the advisory community.

FinTech North is also working on hosting 3 more full day UK conferences across the North. In a break from tradition, FinTech North is looking at dates in November to host the Leeds Conference at first direct arena. Our Liverpool conference will take place in late Q2 and our Newcastle conference will happen in Q3. Dates and locations are tbc.

Speakers at the Manchester conference will be announced in the coming weeks. Early bird tickets for the conference can be purchased here and are priced at £69 per delegate.

Chris Sier, HM Treasury FinTech Envoy & Chairman, FinTech North said:

“We are delighted to be working with the University of Manchester again and returning to Whitworth Hall, which was a such a stunning venue for last year’s conference. The FinTech sector continues to mature and this is opening up exciting opportunities for the regions of the UK, so 2020 is shaping up to be a really interesting year.”
