FinTech North to work in closer partnership with FinTech Wales to champion regional growth
FinTech North is excited to announce a new partnership with FinTech Wales, strengthening the collaboration between our two organisations as we continue to support the growth of the UK’s regional FinTech ecosystems.
As members of the FinTech National Network, FinTech North and FinTech Wales are already closely aligned in our missions to foster innovation, enable connectivity, and drive inclusive, sustainable growth across the UK’s FinTech sector. Both organisations are committed to supporting entrepreneurs and established firms alike by providing access to opportunities, expertise, and communities across our respective regions.
This new partnership builds on years of national collaboration and shared values. Together, we aim to further develop key areas such as skills and talent, event delivery, knowledge sharing, and the creation of high-impact relationships that accelerate growth across the FinTech landscape. FinTech North has long championed accessible, regionally driven engagement through conferences, roundtables, and trade initiatives, while FinTech Wales continues to support high-growth businesses through its accelerator programmes, academic partnerships, and ecosystem development work in Wales.
As part of this partnership, we’ll be working together to provide relevant speaking opportunities across each other’s communities, encourage cross-participation in regional events, and offer community members from both organisations access to tickets and opportunities to get involved. We will also collaborate on signposting regional and national initiatives that support FinTech development, ensuring businesses can more easily navigate and benefit from what’s available across both ecosystems.
By working more closely together, we hope to create more opportunities for FinTechs across the North of England and Wales – amplifying what’s working in both regions, encouraging cross-border collaboration, and helping founders and teams access the networks and resources they need to succeed.
