Meet the FCA at FinTech North 2018 (Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool)

The FinTech North 2018 events, this year in Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester, promise to bring together a number of industry leading FinTech businesses from around the world as well as a whole host of exciting speakers, including the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

We are delighted to have the FCA’s Christopher Woolard and Anna Wallace speaking at the Manchester and Leeds events respectively.

In addition, we’re pleased to announce that for the 2^nd year in a row, the FCA will also be attending (all three events) and are inviting FinTech businesses to come and meet them.

The FCA Innovate team will be hosting drop-in sessions for innovative firms who want to speak to the FCA about how they could help their firm, whether with regulatory issues or questions about the range of services FCA Innovate offers.

It also a great opportunity to enquire about applying for formal support via the FCA Innovate’s Direct Support or Sandbox teams.

Please include the name of your firm and a brief description of your business model, and provide sample questions you would like to ask. Francesca will then be in touch to offer you a time-slot on the day.

Even if you do not have a drop-in session booked, you are welcome to approach the team throughout the day with any questions you may have.

Firms that took up the opportunity to meet with the FCA Innovate team last year, found that the meetings were helpful in informing them of the FCA’s expectations and how best to go about bringing new fintech innovations to market.
