UK organisations invited to pitch at February FinTech North events
UK organisations invited to ‘reverse pitch’ to international FinTech scale-ups at FinTech North in February.
From 12-14th February, a delegation of 20 European FinTech firms will visit the Northern Powerhouse spending three days across the cities of Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds. FinTech North will once again be hosting events over the course of the visit, which will showcase the visiting FinTechs, and also selected UK organisations.
The visiting party will have the opportunity to meet with and pitch to a number of UK organisations. For this mission we are also providing an opportunity for the UK companies to do a ‘reverse pitch’ whereby they outline their proposition and outline some of the FinTech related challenges they are trying to solve. The intention of the reverse pitch is to create a more opportunities for conversation and engagement, to make the session as valuable as possible for all involved.
This is the second international FinTech mission organised by the Department for International Trade and Foreign & Commonwealth Office, and follows on from the successful November mission. With over 3 weeks until the closing date, there have already been over 60 applications from international FinTechs keen to take part in the mission.
We are inviting UK organisations with an interest in pitching to contact us at fintechnorth@whitecapconsulting.co.uk giving a brief explanation of their organisation and what they would like to speak about in their pitch, which should last no more than 5 minutes.
